Who’s looking after it?

Raw Cuts is an InFlow Adventure Company project based in Squamish, British Columbia, Canada. InFlow Adventure Company is responsible for the information collected through Raw Cuts. For privacy questions or requests, email rawcuts@inflowadventure.com or call 604-849-2925.

When you join the newsletter

We ask for your email address and a separate agreement to receive Raw Cuts updates. We use Klaviyo to manage subscriptions and send stories, event news, speaker announcements and ticket updates. Your signup includes your email address, consent and signup source. Klaviyo may also process technical details such as your IP address and records of confirmation, delivery, opens, clicks and unsubscribes.

Our list uses email confirmation: follow the link in the confirmation email to finish joining. You can unsubscribe through any newsletter or contact us. Declining website analytics does not prevent you from subscribing. The website analytics choice does not control measurement inside emails.

Signing up here is for Raw Cuts updates; it is not a request to join a separate InFlow newsletter.

When you browse

Google Analytics stays off until you choose “Allow analytics.” If you agree, it uses cookies and processes information about pages viewed, device and browser, approximate location, referral sources and interactions. We use this to understand how people find and use the site.

Our custom events record accepted newsletter signup requests and clicks on email or phone links. A signup request is not proof of email confirmation, and a contact click is not proof that a message was sent. We do not include your entered email address or message content in these custom events. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our website tag.

Our hosting providers also process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, which can include IP addresses, request details and security logs. These operational records are separate from optional Google Analytics.

You can change your mind

Choose “No analytics” to browse without loading the Google Analytics tag. We save your choice in this browser’s local storage for up to six months. Clearing browser storage, changing browser or using another device may mean choosing again. If storage is blocked, your choice may last only for the current page.

You can turn analytics off at any time below or through “Privacy settings” in the footer. This stops future website analytics, clears accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site and reloads the page. It does not erase information already received by Google or unsubscribe you from email.

Who helps us run things?

We use Klaviyo for email, Google for optional analytics, and OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure to host and deliver this website. These providers may process information outside Canada. Their own privacy information explains more about their services:

Links to Instagram and other websites take you to services with their own privacy settings and policies.

Messages, access and removal

If you email or call us, we use the details you share to respond and manage that conversation. Please only share information you want us to receive. We keep information for the purposes described here, with retention depending on the type of information, service settings and any recordkeeping obligations. Limited consent or unsubscribe records may need to remain so we can respect your choices.

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, withdraw consent, or raise a concern by contacting rawcuts@inflowadventure.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We’ll explain if there is information we need to retain.

If this changes

We’ll update this page and its date when our practices change. A materially different use of optional tracking will require a new choice.
